I miss 78! and okay, being a student maybe.
horror of horrors, the O level results are coming out just this Friday. I hope A levels results would never come out.
Being a pending results HCI student is better than being a non-4As HCI student.

just less than 3 weeks ago, i think i was desperately in need of a job.
and now.. guess what.


I have 2 office jobs, 2 tuition students and...


I have this horrible low paying tedious home based data entry job, which have sent me 2 assignments concurrently. and i failed at both.
my entrustee was not up to the job, well.. she tried her best and i felt so bad for her.
cos the company actually just called me and told me to stop doing..
and i completed the one i wanted to do myself, and they rejected it for they didnt do something they didnt tell me to do!!!

oh wells, i didnt even have the time collect my jan pay.
and I had to write an authorisation letter for ying ying to help me pick it up.
since we are sharing the pay..


so now, tuesday night is my only only off night. (I have no off days)
and i was previously about to accept a tuesday night job at my friend's western food stall!!

If I did, I think my resume after I end holidays would be so super varied
data entry, hawker stall assistant, admin assistant, teacher..


I have learnt to be proficient in excel though. haha. i can write formulas, which i dont even know how i learnt how to do it!!
My boss just taught me to use the auto-sum function, and the next day i realised i could type multiplication formulas and calculate percentage too..
or maybe i did learn, and was too tired that my brain selectively stored information
I'd choose to believe the former

I should try school teaching one day.. relief for a while
maybe I will fall in love with the all so noble profession and be willing to slog like a dog for the rest of my life for the sake of the future generation.

not that its a lousy job, but i think it just takes great effort. painstakingly teaching and guiding children who refuse to listen to you anyway.. after all, why be a teacher if you just wanna teach in the classroom, teach soley science math english and have your students merely get good grades?
nurturing students to grow up to be people of excellent character had been the core of the education for centuries..and i wish to preserve that if i was a teacher.

easier said then done though.
