school's starting! :S:S
I recently picked up my calendar again to blow of the dust that has accumulated on its cover.
I wrote down the things i have to do or have been lined up in the month of august.
and i looked at my may - july schedule.

may-jul schedule was monochrome.
and you can say that august would be a 色彩缤纷 month for me.
literally.

4 months ahead of studies.
rushing through lectures.
eating lunch in lectures.
trainings till wee hours.
dumping stuff in lockers.
exam mugging.
chiong-ing and chiong-ing.

com'on u can do this.
at most sleep in some ulu part of school.. or just pretend to be a patient/ relative of a patient/ outpatient & sit in NUH to sleep, holding on to a bogus queue ticket.


im glad my fellow buddy in pharm is headed in the same direction as me.
and probably we can encourage each other to pia.

its the word i have for this semester.
WHACK.

3 labs, 2 modules that requires 6h per week.
i should have taken my 6 modules last sem! ugh.

anw, i found a nice junior from 06S78 that's coming to pharmacy :)
yays.. though my senior was literally non-existent.
i hope to be a great help to my new lil buddy friend :D

Saturday night: 2.30am to 5.30am
Sunday night: intermittent sleep amongst sandy feet - 3.30am to 7am
Monday: 12pm to 7pm.

I didn't really feel very tired. And intended only to sleep for 2h and get back to working.
Who knows i woke up to find the grey blue sky of 7pm.

Sleep overs, chalets.
It has been a fantastic July 2008, and there won't be again.
2008 is a special year of 07-08 countdowns, 5th July 2008 (05/07/08) outing, July 2008(07/08) Birthday chalets. :)

with most people at least turning up for one of the events, and a whole bunch turning up for all of them:) - except Lam Guang Feng.. lol

pictures should be on facebook by others, i didnt bring mine.. due to the sheer amount of things i had to bring.
never again will time turn back.
as age slowly creep into our lives, we find less energy for such sleep overs, less energy to take the bus and walk a long distance into chalets, that we might all resort to driving cars and just having late night outs instead of sleep overs.

Girls' talk was super funny, with the boys haunting us periodically.. trying to eavesdrop.
I think alcohol really made some people more high, and more fun. Fighting to make sense admist battling a disobedient motor system, made every attempt extremely amusing.

all the RVians came! although huiwen tried to snatch my Facebook girlfriend, to no avail:)
I'm so in love with the very class of the very school i didnt want to be in.

I SOO SOO SOO miss sleep overs at ying's place:)
and yesterday was great!
with super fun wii-ing with tan huiwen's wii console..

and whipping up a typical fried rice for dinner,
having fruits,
playing bridge,
two good movies - Ahkeela and the Bee & Stepford Wives (Quite sick though)

loads of crapping
huiwen sucks. but we are great pals at wii-ing.
a good RVian Combo can win anything

MUAHAHA, even chuan yuan came! :)
Perfect RVian gathering, with Chieh Hwee.. Pity kimbo couldnt come.
if not she cld have offset the bullying chieh hwee aka cui hua got from us :P

This season, many people are having fever.
so are we.
we are having .. hot pot fever!

today was celebration for my beloved 好姐妹 's birthday :D
and we went to 巴蜀人家 like last year.
it's superrr nicee. China-style hot pot. Singapore style is just plain bland and tasteless. Everything tastes the same. But the Chinese hot pot is seriously good.
In the year, my tastebud has gone hihgly immune to chilli oil and spiciness.

I think my Trpv1 receptors on my tongue have gone desensitised. or maybe my nerves just rapidly fire causing the inhibition of my other relay neurones already..

for the less scientifically developed sub-species of homosapiens, it simply means that im super numb to chilli. and so the 麻辣火锅 was like totally not 辣 to me at all.
last year i shuddered at the thought of eating anything from the pot.
and only ate one piece of luncheon meat.
This year it was not spicy AT ALL.

But it was stil nice.
Everything was relatively fresh, yummy and FREE FLOW.
yum yum

Initially we wanted to go swimming, but since we couldn't because of many feminine woes, we decided to 喷水still, but on land.
and 老妈 actually even brought a spray (that people use for gardening or ironing clothes that kind) to spray wen.
Turns out it become a facial spray to cool us down from hot pot heat stroke.
Was so hot!!

oh, i rmb happy also went to this place last year.
when he was in his mother's womb. hahah.
this year was just the 4 of us:)
rewarding, 真的是空空地来，饱饱地回去。
而且都是挺着个肚子的那种。

赤壁之战 ...
哎，就差在整套戏没有赤壁之战。好无奈，好讽刺。

中间又插出冷笑话、无聊的对白。
干嘛么，真是的！

可是战场上的斗争倒是挺好看的 。值得一看。中国人打仗就是与西方人不。一样
西方人是约好地点然后双方赴约。硬碰头应战。
真不是滋味，闷死了。又不用脑筋。无聊。

中国人。一场战，还需 许多的策略。许多的计划。
得先预测到对方的策略，不一定人多就会胜利。

Lord of the Rings, Narnia, 什么西方片都好。
你看他们的战情 ，也不过如此！
最多哇一声，没了。
最多有一点侠义精神。

别说没有，策略是有。一个，就玩完了。
中国人打仗就是好看。
我就是喜欢。

我们就是比西方人会用脑子。
明明就是。

我又不是中国人，我是新加坡人呀。
不过，我真觉得，洋人.....不怎么聪明。
傻呆呆的，他们只有一些精英是很厉害的。

贫民百姓，傻得可怜。呵呵呵呵呵呵。。。。
所以用中文写，洋人.. 看不懂。

这一阵子，花钱无数，是该时候收敛了。
啊.......有吃有花 ....

人变肥，钱又没。

no, i did not munch on too many spoons of chocolate rice in peanut butter while watching TV.
but u could tell the decrease in peanut butter in the tin..

no, i did not soak in sea water and sun tann all day in bintan without drinking much water.
i only had 3 extra bottles of water to bring back home from bintan, meaning i drank a bottle and a half for 3 days.

no, i did not willfully continue eating keropok after keropok even though I am sick.
well, at least i drank 2 full cups of water and $8 worth of leng leong.

no i did not continue eating black pepper chicken cubes, sambal belachan long beans for dinner though I am sick.
well, there wasn't anything else to eat.
unless i could cook plain porridge and eat that again.
i alreadt did eat that last night when my nose and throat was so chocked and blocked that i couldn't sleep at 4.15am.

i didnt do anything to warrant the state i am in now.
anw. i just decided to label all the boxes i have my old books in:
it's quite nice rite..

i'm back!! :)
and I don't think I'm any much tanner than I was before I went.
Even though I was under the sun everyday I was there..
if more women like me existed those cosmetic whitening cream companies would be going bust

I swam in the beautiful pool, in the crystal clear sea, kayaked, spent time, listened to sermons, sun-tanned.
And we went to have a feast ourselves..chilli crab feast.
Since the other grace liked it. :( I didnt get my black pepper crab!

We also found a cheaper hawker nearby the super expensive Pasar Oleh Oleh, which we settled our other dinner for $3-$4 Sing dollars, for a lot of food. :)
Thanks to a super expensive Chauffeur that showed us around the place.

And Bintan is littered with Polo Ralph Shops everywhere.
I think they are crazy over it. But I bought a shirt half priced :) yays

Since playtime is over. And the new semester's timetable is FINALLY out.
It's time to start planning and getting down to earth.
